About Your Photographer

Hey there!

I’m Christine, the owner and photographer behind Conner James Photography Inc. With over 12 years of professional experience and more than 1,000 newborn sessions photographed, I specialize in newborn, maternity, and family photography. My in-home studio in Glen Carbon, Illinois, is fully stocked with everything needed to create beautiful, timeless portraits.

I am triple certified in newborn posing and safety and have had the incredible opportunity to be mentored by Ana Brandt, one of the world’s top newborn photographers. Capturing the delicate, fleeting moments of a baby’s first days is my passion, and I take great pride in ensuring a safe, comfortable experience for both baby and parents.

My love for photography started at just 16 years old, and by 2008, I was holding my first camera—completely hooked. I named my business after my son, Conner James, who passed away at three months old. Losing him taught me just how priceless photographs are. They hold our most cherished memories, and it’s my honor to provide that gift to other families.

Beyond photography, I’m a wife and proud mama of five—Jordynne (16), Montanna (13), and Dylan (12) Brandon (8), with my angel Conner always in my heart.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me indulging in Mexican food, binge-watching Grey’s Anatomy and Gordon Ramsay, or enjoying all things Harry Potter and Disney!
